State of Georgia Department of Insurance Requirements
All resident licensees with less than 20 years of service are required to complete 24 hours of continuing education biennially, including 3 hours of ethics.
Limited subagents need only 10 hours of P/C courses (No Ethics requirement)
Continuing education requirements must be completed biennially on or before the last day of the licensee's birth month.
Licensees can carryover 50% of required hours. If 24 hours required, they can carryover 12 credits.
Credit will not be given for the same Continuing Education Course for a period of (2) years, unless the topic of course is current issues, ethics or legislative updates.
Exams must be monitored by a disinterested third party.
Course provider is responsible for reporting course completion to the state.

Proctor must be present during entire length of final exam
After completing and submitting exam online, a downloadable version of the Affidavit for Test Administrator form must be printed out from the computer which the exam was taken and signed by the proctor.

After Affidavit has been filled out and signed by proctor, please fax to 619-222-8593
Upon receipt of the Affidavit, you will be given access to print out the certificate of completion for the course that was succesfully completed.
Credits for completion of course will be submitted by roster via email to appropriate state insurance department or credit processing firm.
